What is the significance of voltmeter sensitivity expressed in ohms per volt?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: A. The full scale reading of the voltmeter multiplied by its ohms per volt rating is the input impedance of the voltmeter
Multiplying the full-scale voltage by the ohms-per-volt rating gives the meter's input impedance. For example, 20,000 ohms/volt on a 10 V range gives 200,000 ohms. Higher input impedance loads the circuit less.
Tip: Full scale x ohms/volt = input impedance.
