Why are odd-order intermodulation products, created within a receiver, of particular interest compared to other products?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: A. Odd-order products of two signals in the band being received are also likely to be within the band
Odd-order products such as 2f1 - f2 fall close to the original signals. If the two signals are in the band, these products are likely in the band too, where filters cannot remove them.
