What causes inductor saturation?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: C. Operation at excessive magnetic flux
A core saturates when the magnetic flux is so high it cannot increase further. Then inductance drops sharply. Too much current causes the excessive flux.
Tip: Too much flux = saturated core.
