How do you receive official notification of your new license and call sign after passing the exam?

Answer: A. Email from the FCC with a link to download the license grant
The FCC sends an email with a link to download your official license grant. FCC rule 97.23 requires you to give the FCC an email address for this reason. The FCC no longer mails paper licenses, and the volunteer examiners do not issue your license.
Tip: Give the FCC a working email address; that is where your license arrives.
